Why I build on Squarespace (and why that’s a good thing for you!)

Let’s get real for a minute. If you’ve had a web designer build you a website on a complicated platform, you know the pain of either having to learn the tech from scratch (who has time?) or relying on your designer for every. little. edit.

We can fix that.

Squarespace provides an intuitive, easy-to-learn website builder. You won’t be stuck paying me for every edit; you’ll actually own your site. (Imagine that!)

Every Squarespace website design I do comes complete with a Zoom walkthrough where I teach you how to navigate your site and make changes. I’ll even record the call for you so you’ll have something to refer to anytime you need a refresher.

Process

Here’s how we’ll work together to make your website something you love.

  • During the discovery phase, we’ll meet so I can ask questions and learn more about your business.

  • Once I understand who you are, what you do, and who you’re trying to reach, I’ll build a messaging strategy for your website. (Available in The Whole Package only.)

  • I’ll follow your brand guidelines for colors, fonts, logos, and images. If you don’t have them, I’ll create a simple wordmark logo, color, and font scheme for you. (Available in The Whole Package only.)

  • You’ll write the content for your website, and I’ll make it easy by providing a detailed dashboard and clear guidance to make sure we’re leading with a strong, client-focused strategy.

  • When your site is finished, you’ll have a chance to review it and we’ll work together to make sure everything works perfectly for you. Then <drumroll> … I’ll connect your domain and we’ll launch your new site to the world!

  • We’ll do a final recorded walk-through after your site is live. During that time, I’ll show you how to make simple changes to your site. This is also a great time to ask questions — I’m here to help!
